This 1999 Fender Broadcaster Leo Fender Commemorative model, numbered #45 of 50, is a rare and exceptional tribute to the legacy of Leo Fender. Crafted by the Fender Custom Shop to the exact specifications of the 1950 Broadcaster, this guitar features a two-piece ash body finished in Butterscotch Blonde, offering a classic and timeless aesthetic. The neck is a one-piece, highly flamed maple with a 25-1/2" scale, providing a smooth and responsive playing experience. Equipped with two Custom Shop single-coil pickups, along with a three-barrel bridge, the instrument delivers rich, authentic tones. The chrome hardware adds a sleek touch, while the headstock bears Leo Fender’s full name in script—making this the only Fender guitar to do so. A true collector's piece, this guitar is both a functional instrument and a tribute to the man who revolutionized the world of electric guitars.
The wiring harness has been upgraded to Emerson Custom Wiring. It also comes with two cases, regular thermoplastic and a special display case.
