This Fender JV Modified '50s Telecaster takes real inspiration from the now highly collectible "Japanese Vintage" reissues of the early '80s, refined into a genuinely modern take on that classic formula. A resonant basswood body pairs with dual single-coils voiced for authentic Tele twang, while a 4-way switch opens up series and parallel wiring options beyond the usual pickup combinations, and a push-pull tone pot lets you flip into out-of-phase territory on positions 2 and 4 for extra tonal variety. The Soft "V" maple neck wears a satin finish that feels great in hand, and a 9.5" radius fingerboard with medium jumbo frets keeps playability fast and comfortable across the board. It's a great pick for a player who wants genuine vintage Fender character with the flexibility and playability of a modern instrument.
