This lovely Vibro-Champ was built in October of 1964, by Fender Electric Instrument Company. A neat feature to note is the 1964 Jensen C8P speaker, which likely didn't come stock, but is still extremely rare. The Vibro-Champ has grown be an all-time classic amplifier, and this one was owned by Nashville guitar legend Daniel Donato!
This one shows moderate signs of previous wear but still looks good. There are a couple of small spots of paint and a partial Electrix skeleton sticker on the top. The upper back panel is also missing, which is common with Champs. Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced. The tremolo caps have also been updated, and the tone stack features one Blackface-era Blue Molded 0.047uF and one Sozo 0.1uF cap. These are equivalent in value to the stock components, and the amp sounds great. See circuit pics for details.
