Customer Reviews

I finally bought my first Carter Vintage guitar and had a great experience. This was also my first vintage guitar purchase! I got a tip from an employee at Gibson Garage that Carter had a 1984 Kramer Pacer. I knew that I wanted it, but wasn't able to get over to the shop. I was able to complete the purchase over the phone and the staff had the guitar all set up and restrung for me for when I was able to come in a few days later. Everyone that assisted me over the phone and in the shop was great. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and they really care about the guitars and their customers. It was really exciting to pick up a guitar from such an iconic place. The guitar looks and sounds awesome. Thanks Carter Vintage! I'd love to be a repeat customer.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at Carter Vintage Instruments in Nashville. This was my second purchase with them, and just like the first time, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. A special thanks goes to Andrew White, who assisted me with the sale. He was incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the entire process. It’s clear that Carter’s staff truly go out of their way to make sure you’re completely satisfied. Their professionalism and dedication to customer service are second to none. I will absolutely continue to be a buyer and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch instruments and exceptional service. Sincerely, Rick Stallard Bucks County, Pennsylvania I just added two photos of the recent purchase. The 1970s fender telecaster in the middle of the three guitars Post it. The 1988 telecaster on the left of the three is another Carter Vintage purchase. The one to the far right is my 1995 Stratocaster, which I’ve owned since 1996. Thanks again for the wonderful staff at Carter Vintage instruments

Great experience! I called and Andrew set aside a couple guitars for me to try the next morning. He let Nick know I would be stopping by since he was off that day. Nick was extremely helpful getting me set up and closing the deal. I have also sold guitars through Carter Vintage and had a good experience there as well. Highly recommend!

This is indeed a great place to be. I did enjoy every minute out of 3 hours visit last week. It just felt like the perfect environment for any musician or amateur. The atmosphere was magical and the personnel super hip! I did even compose a tune out of a faboulos Bourgeois which I will hardly reveal the exact model as I will soon be bringing it home! 😉

Vintage Guitar paradise that is truly worth the trip. Beyond the incredible collection of vintage guitars, amps, mandolins, banjos, and more, the place has one of the best vibes of a guitar shop. Despite how much these guitars are worth they really want you to play and appreciate them while there. Ended up picking up a 2000s Mandolin at a great price and condition.
