The Martin D-35 is sometimes overlooked by players who focus on the D-28 made famous by so many popular musicians and playing styles. The D-35 is an instrument that should be regarded as a huge contributor to not only the Martin dreadnought lineup, but also the construction of acoustics across time. This example is a phenomenal instrument that has the rich tonal characteristics of Brazilian Rosewood with amazing clarity. Every note shimmers with a pleasant higher register that compliments the full sound. Martin has a consistency that rivals other manufacturers, while the 60's are not heralded as a their golden years, this instrument sits near the top of the heap for late 60's Martin dreadnoughts. It is in remarkable condition with the only repairs being a neck reset, bridge reglue, replacement bridge pins and an added string button. All of these are standard and well done repairs that prolong the life of the instrument. Truly one of the best D-35's we have seen

The guitar comes with a molded Martin hardshell case
