Description

This 1941 Martin D-18 comes in remarkably original condition for its age, showing only a handful of thoughtful updates over the years. The bridge, frets, nut, and tuners have been replaced, and it’s had a clean neck reset—ensuring it plays as well as it sounds. There’s some expected play wear on the top along with light scratches and dings throughout, but overall, it presents as a well-preserved example of a pre-war dreadnought. Tonally, it delivers exactly what you'd hope for: a strong, focused low end, with clear, articulate mids and a sweet, singing top end. A wonderfully balanced and responsive guitar with the kind of voice only decades of aging can produce. Comes with a HSC.
