This D-28, owned by Jim Lauderdale, has a rich and powerful sound thanks to the classic tonewood combination of straight grained Brazilian rosewood and Sitka spruce. It has a replaced bridgeplate, a repaired top crack, and an added K&K pickup. Additionally the neck has been reset and refretted, finish has been removed from the neck, and the top and headcap have been oversprayed. Overall this guitar is in great shape for its age and has the much sought after tone these guitars are known for! Comes with its original hard case.
