This 1948 D-18 boasts the beautiful vintage Martin tone and excellent playability that musicians cherish. Its warm, lived-in sound makes it an ideal companion for singer-songwriters or flatpickers seeking a powerful instrument. To ensure its longevity, the guitar has undergone several essential repairs, including a neck reset, a replaced bridge, and a repaired pickguard crack with a plate cleat between the X-brace and finger brace below the pickguard. Additionally, a back crack on the bass side lower bout has been fixed with two cleats, and two side cracks at the waist on the bass side have been glued. A side crack on the lower bout near the strap pin has also been glued. Other updates include the addition of a strap pin at the heel, replaced bridge pins, a refret, and new nut and saddle. With these repairs, this guitar is ready for its next musical journey!
