Marshall Silver Jubilee 2554 1x12 50w Combo 1987, Grey

The Marshall Silver Jubilee was released in 1987 to commemorate Marshall's 50 years in the music industry. These amps fall in a very special place, not only in collectability but with their design as well. It features the best qualities of both old and new Marshall eras, while also capitalizing on the 80's ascent into higher levels of gain. This amp certainly shows it's age, with moderate signs of wear, along with prolonged storage, but there's no real damage to speak of, other than a small tolex tear in the left corner. One neat aspect about the amp is the original speaker, which is the original Vintage 30, before the "30" was in the name. These are some of the most sought after speakers in the modern era.

This amp is completely stock parts-wise, other than the power switch. While this is optimal for collectibility it would be advised to do maintenance on the amp before gigging or heavy use (filter caps, etc). In all, this is an excellent player grade piece, that has 100% of that legendary Jubilee sound we know and love.
