This fantastic-sounding Plexi panel Marshall head boasts an interesting and rare combination of features. Despite having a changed "Black Flag" front panel, the rest of the specifications match the original "Reverse Logo" amps built in 1967, during the transition from the JTM45 amps to the JMP50 models. The configuration consists of JTM45-style preamp paired with the more robust JMP50 power amp, and this amp features the rare Drake 1202-133 power transformer, which is slightly hotter than the 1202-118 models from the era. This extra bit of voltage helps to produce a true 50 watts of output on the oscilloscope, and might even translate into better headroom. All of the preamp components are original, though the blend cap used with the 470k resistors is an RS 100pf instead of the typical 500pf/470pf. The only other changes are the bias caps, and the addition of an IEC port in place of the original Bulgin port (a practical upgrade if you've ever had trouble sourcing a Bulgin cable). The front Marshall logo is missing as well. Please refer to the pictures and specs for further details.
