The 1987 Silver Jubilee was a special edition amp, to commemorate Marshall's 50 years in the music industry. These amps fall within a very special time at Marshall, not only in collectability but with their design as well. It features the best qualities of both old and new Marshall eras, while also capitalizing on the 80's ascent into territories of higher gain.

The 2553 model is a perfect choice if 100 Watts is too much for you. It's switchable between 25w or 50w, and sounds great in both modes. Marshall tried to reissue this amp at different times, but nothing has ever sounded quite like the original '87/'88 amps!

This amp shows moderate signs of wear, with a tolex blemish on the top front side, along with a couple smaller ones that are less noticeable. Parts-wise everything on the amp is original, aside from tubes. While this is optimal for collectibility it would be advised to change the original electrolytic caps before any prolonged or gigging use is done. It should also be noted the amp came to us missing the rear back panel. Performance-wise, this amp has 100% of that legendary Jubilee sound we all know and love!
