This rare 2x12 beast has a an interesting bit of lore to match it's legendary sound. While there's no documentation supporting the claim, it was said this amp was used and played by members of the band Bad Company. It's certainly believable in the sound, because this amp nails the 70's rock tone perfectly! In conjunction with the '78 Blackback Celestions the tone ends up being almost dark, which is a big departure from the typical 70's Marshall brightness. The original filter caps are still present, though a few of the preamp resistors have been swapped for modern equivalents - please see circuit pics for details.

Like with many of these models, for whatever reason the control panel writing has completely worn off, which someone has supplemented with marker. There's a couple of gouges in the metal front, along with the chassis having a crude hole in it, indicating possibly an added preamp tube socket that was never installed. To say this amp has vibe would be an understatement - this amp IS a vibe!
