This 1965 Gibson Southern Jumbo in Sunburst is a great example of a well-loved vintage Gibson with plenty of character and a voice all its own. It has a warm, open sound with a woody midrange and a nice amount of punch, while the feel has that broken-in quality that makes an older guitar especially inviting to pick up and play. The guitar is in good, stable condition with dings and scratches throughout, along with a slight hump in the fretboard where the neck meets the body. It is currently playable, though it does fret out and buzz around the 12th fret before clearing up around the 15th fret. A full refret would be recommended to address the remaining fretwork issues. The end pin is broken, and the guitar is being sold as-is.
