Description

The Gibson Les Paul Deluxe was originally advertised as a step between the Standard and Custom when it was first introduced. The Deluxe was crafted with a pancake body, consisting of a thin strip of maple "pancaked" between two blocks of mahogany along with volutes near the headstock to improve structural integrity.
Aside from replaced tuners, added strap locks, and very minor wear, this Les Paul remains in splendid and original condition. The mini humbuckers specially designed for this model live beautifully between a full-sized humbucker and P90 - brighter, more accessible clean tones than a full-sized humbucker, but thicker and wider-sounding when compared to a P90. Includes the original hardshell case.
