Description

This 1965 Gibson SG Jr. in Cherry is a lightweight, no-frills solidbody with a direct and immediate response. The mahogany body and set neck construction produce a dry, focused tone with a strong midrange presence and a clear, biting top end. Its lone dog ear P-90 pickup keeps the controls simple, emphasizing clarity and dynamic sensitivity.

The cherry finish has aged naturally, with visible checking throughout and areas of wear typical of regular use. There are scattered dings and surface marks across the body, along with a light patina on the hardware. Overall, it remains in good vintage condition with the expected signs of handling and time.
