Description

This 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Michael Bloomfield V.O.S. '59 Les Paul Standard recreates the distinctive Sunburst Les Paul played by the influential guitarist during his time with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and Electric Flag. Produced in a limited run of 200 examples, it features a figured maple top, solid mahogany body, and one-piece mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The rounded '59 C neck profile and pair of Burstbucker pickups deliver the familiar feel and dynamic response of a late-'50s Les Paul. Special details include Grover tuners and the Bloomfield Burst finish, giving this model its own identity within Gibson's Custom Shop lineup. This example remains clean overall.
