This Gibson Explorer was made in the USA in 1984. This is a rare example from the designer series with a factory Union Jack finish. It's estimated that 500 of these were planned, but somewhere around 150 were actually built.
This guitar has a factory installed Kahler tremolo and locking nut, and is powered by Gibson's "Dirty-Fingers" pickups.
There are a few dings and scratches on the instrument, but no major damage. The frets appear to be in good shape overall, and this instrument has normal playing wear for a four-decade old instrument.
