Gibson SG Junior 1963, Cherry

This 1963 Gibson SG Junior in Cherry is a fantastic example of a no-frills vintage Gibson with plenty of character and attitude. Weighing in at an exceptionally light 5.6 pounds, it feels effortless on a strap and has the kind of comfortable, balanced feel that makes you want to play it all day. The original P-90 and electronics deliver that raw, punchy Gibson voice, with plenty of bite, warmth, and grit when you dig in. The Cherry finish has checked beautifully over the years, with honest dings and scratches that tell the story of a well-played instrument. The original frets and electronics remain intact. The bridge has been replaced with a MojoAxe CWT60-A-3 compensated lightning bolt bridge for improved intonation, and the original bridge is included in the case. Professionally fret-leveled and set up by the team at CVG, this SG Junior feels great and is ready to go. A lightweight, straightforward vintage Gibson with all the feel, tone, and personality that make these guitars so special.
