Gibson Les Paul 1952, Goldtop Refin

This 1952 Gibson Les Paul has been substantially modified over the years, including a conversion from the original trapeze setup to a stoptail, and refinish. The refinish shows heavy checking and wear throughout, while a neck reset and refret have addressed important aspects of its playability. A Music City tailpiece, reissue Kluson tuners, new nut, metal jack plate, and added switch ring further distinguish it from its original configuration. The knobs are vintage Gibson replacements, with one broken knob included along with a replacement set in the case pocket. The bridge pickup volume pot has also been replaced, making this an early Les Paul with a history of changes.
