Description

This 2022 Gibson Custom ‘58 Korina Explorer is a faithful recreation of one of the rarest and most radical designs Gibson ever made. The korina body and neck give it a warm, airy, resonant voice with a little more sparkle and openness than mahogany, which is a big part of why the originals are so legendary. The Custombucker humbuckers are closely matched and vintage-voiced, with that classic PAF character: clear and dynamic when you play lightly, and thick, singing and aggressive when you dig in or turn up. The chunky ’50s neck has a full, substantial grip, and the 12" radius rosewood fingerboard is comfortable for both chording and bending.
