Modifications/RepairsNew Pickguard, New Nylon Nut. Small crack repaired near neck tone knob. Finish reaction on back of guitar. Cracked tailpiece

Made only between '55 and '59, the ES-225 is one of the most overlooked Gibson guitars from their golden era! The ES-225 was one of the stepping stones between hollow body arch tops and the ES-335 we now know and love today - this one being made just one year before the introduction of the 335 in 1958! It has all the appointments you could ask for: a thinline body, two golden era P-90 pickups, a cutaway for easier high fret access, and a fantastic neck profile that makes the guitar a joy to play. This example is in good condition with a replaced nylon nut, a replaced pickguard, a small crack repair on the top, a crack in the bottom retainer clip of the tail piece, and some finish reactions on the back with general wear for an instrument this age - namely an elongated scratch under the pickguard ending near the knobs. It plays great on its original frets and sounds fantastic!

Includes a hard shell case.
