Description

This 1956 Gibson ES-175D is a clean Sunburst example with the classic single-cutaway archtop design and dual-pickup layout. The guitar has been refretted and fitted with replacement tuners and a replacement bridge, while the original pickguard has developed a slight warp and has been removed for safekeeping in the case. Light wear is present on the back, but the guitar remains in excellent overall condition. It presents well as a well-kept mid-'50s ES-175D with a few practical updates and plenty of original character.
