Gibson ES-335 1963/1968, Cherry

This Gibson ES-335 began life in 1963 and returned to Gibson in 1968 for a factory re-neck, giving the guitar a particularly interesting blend of early- and late-’60s details. The Cherry finish remains paired with the familiar semi-hollow body and twin-humbucker layout, while the electronics are all from 1968; the neck pickup has since been rewound. A Bigsby was previously installed and has been removed, with the mounting holes plugged and touched up, and the guitar now carries an aftermarket tailpiece. It has also received a new nut and refret, making this a well-maintained ES-335 with some history behind it. The light playing wear and very good overall condition leave the guitar presenting nicely while still showing some of its age.
