It's the holy grail of Gibson acoustic guitars, and it just also happened to have seen the battlefields of WWII Europe; photographic evidence included. A veteran of tone and status, the Gibson Advanced Jumbo was introduced as a premium instrument that carries accolades for its design appeal as well as its playability and tone. The specs of the AJ are rather unique for Gibson acoustics, it has a ~ 25.5" scale length and Indian Rosewood back and sides; unlike the typical Gibson jumbo formula 24.75" scale and mahogany. There is more tension for flat picking and the resulting sound is phenomenal, it falls somewhere between a J45 and D28. The sound is there. The look is there. The story is there.
Comes with 50's Geib Hardshell Case.
