The Fender Telecaster's reputation precedes it. In 1966 was the final year of iconic pre-CBS specs like nitro finish, cloth wiring and maple cap necks. This is example is in excellent condition; it even comes with its original polishing cloth, ashtray bridge cover, and a vintage C. Bruno Black strap. The important changes that bring it to the players condition realm, but might be worth chasing down parts to correct to match the whole package: the neck pickup was rewound, the pots replaced in 1970, and the pickguard is a replacement. This example did not seem to have heavy playwear in it its life, and has its original frets as a result. All the nitro lacquer is checked and in its original state with only minor dings and cable burn.
Comes with original black tolex case.
