Description

This 1961 Fender Stratocaster has picked up plenty of history along the way, with a number of repairs and changes that give it a distinctly player-oriented character. The body has been refinished in a dark natural, while the middle and bridge pickups have been rewound and the original pots replaced. It has also been refretted with a new nut, and a previously repaired fingerboard crack has been stabilized. There is some water damage to the headstock, along with a repaired crack on the upper horn. It’s not a museum-piece Strat, but it’s an honest early-’60s example with a lot of life behind it and the kind of history that makes these guitars fun to dig into.
