A 1953 Fender Telecaster is a blackguard aficionado's dream guitar.  This one checks all the boxes.  First of all, check out the classic, "Ash body, looks like one piece as we're having a hard time finding a seam, showing through the (very) thin finish."  This guitar looks like the reference sample for how a blackguard's supposed to look.  This Tele's in excellent original (except for the switch tip) condition right down to the original bridge cover with the solder spot.  This '53 also sounds like exactly like you'd think a blackguard tone's supposed to be.  "Mary 5 - 12 -53" on tape in the control cavity.  Mary did a great job of wiring up an absolutely killer guitar.  The classic Tadeo Gomez shaped neck is a rather larger than normal affair that's shaped perfectly for ease of playing.  It plays easily and the original frets have plenty of life left in them.  The guitar comes with its original brown, "Thermometer" hard case; which is also in excellent condition.
