This guitar is one of only 100 crafted by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Dennis Galuszka. Its design pays homage to the original Reverse Proto, conceived in 1979 as Fender’s first Artist model. Although Jimi Hendrix had passed nearly a decade earlier, the Reverse Proto drew inspiration from his iconic late-1960s white Stratocaster. It featured the reverse headstock Hendrix popularized, paired this time with a right-handed body.

Despite its innovative design, the Reverse Proto never reached mass production due to a lack of support from the Hendrix estate. Aside from a few prototypes, the project was ultimately shelved, solidifying its place as a rare and historically significant Fender creation.

This example is in excellent condition with almost no notable signs of wear. It comes with its original hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, and a DVD featuring an interview from master builder Dennis Galuszka on this very limited run of guitars.
