Description
The Jaguar was the top of the line when Fender first debuted the model in 1962. After the CBS acquisition of the company, Jaguars and Jazzmasters became their flashy flagship model for a few years, with pearloid block inlays, bound necks, Fender Mutes, and all kinds of wild circuitry. This '67 example has all the bells and whistles and remains all original, other than missing its tremolo arm. It delivers classic Fender tone and a comfortable neck on the smaller size. The neck has been shimmed and the action is solid, however there is some buzz on the D-String (many offset players choose to resolve this with a modern bridge). Cosmetically, it has excessive finish wear, adding to its vintage character, and could use a new piece of foam on the mute.
Includes vintage hard shell case.
