A remarkable guitar previously owned by remarkable guitarist, writer, and composer - Ry Cooder. Not much needs to be said for his prolific musicianship and influence on music as a whole as he's been ubiquitous; playing with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, The Doobie Brothers, and more.  The guitar itself is stellar in its own right being all original, sans a deck of cards medallion that was installed below the bridge, adding to the guitar's classic look. The Esquire, at the time of its release, was essentially a Telecaster with only a single bridge pickup meant to introduce a cheaper alternative to the Tele in Fender's line of guitars. Regardless of their stripped down appointments, these guitars are powerhouses that are very versatile thanks to the 'Esquire circuit' offering 3 different tone settings for your single bridge pickup and have been used by notable musicians for many years for their unique sound. The frets are in great condition with very little wear and the guitar plays excellently.
