This is one of the first generation tweed covered Deluxes, dubbed the "TV Front" because of it having a similar shape to a 50's television. The octal preamp tubes provide an excellent, midrange-focused sound, separating it from the later 9-pin circuits. Despite having a fair amount of changes done over the years, this is still an excellent sounding player grade amp, with original tolex. The original baffle was changed at some point, and has oxblood grillcloth. The Jensen P12R is period appropriate, being the same speaker type you'd find in Deluxes anywhere from 1950 to 1960. In addition to the swapped transformers, this amp has changed electrolytic caps, power cord, along with the original wax coupling caps changed out for orange drops.
