This 2016 Fender Custom Shop Jazz Bass wears a Surf Green Relic finish that gives its offset body an unmistakably vintage look. The familiar dual single-coil layout offers the Jazz Bass’s broad tonal range, from tight, articulate bridge-pickup sounds to the fuller response of the neck pickup and blended settings in between. Its contoured body and narrow waist make for a comfortable playing feel, while the independent pickup volume controls and master tone keep the sound easy to shape. Aged hardware and carefully applied wear complete the Relic treatment, giving this Custom Shop example the character of a well-played classic.
