This 2011 Fender Custom Shop ’64 Jazz Bass pairs a Blonde Relic finish with the elegant offset contours of a mid-sixties classic. The aged finish and hardware give it the look of a well-played vintage instrument, while the dual single-coil pickups offer the Jazz Bass’s familiar range of focused, articulate tones and fuller blended sounds. Independent volume controls for each pickup make it easy to fine-tune the balance, with a master tone control for additional shaping. Faithful to the details of its 1964 inspiration, this Custom Shop example combines vintage styling with the consistency of modern craftsmanship.
