This 2015 Fender Custom Shop Builder Select ’69 Stratocaster in Firemist Gold Metallic is an absolute knockout, with a relic treatment that’s tasteful, not overdone, and full of beautiful checking across the metallic finish. It’s loaded with a killer pickup set: a Josefina ’69 Strat in the neck, a Josefina Fat ’50s in the middle, and a Josefina Texas Special in the bridge—an incredibly versatile trio that delivers everything from glassy shimmer to gritty bite. The neck has a comfortable, hand-filling shape that feels immediately supportive without being oversized. Tonally, it’s lively, expressive, and full of that unmistakable Strat character. Overall, this thing sounds excellent—friggin sick. Built by Greg Fessler. Comes with the OHSC and COA.
