Description

This 2007 Collings D1A brings Adirondack spruce and mahogany together in a classic build with the clarity and headroom you’d expect from a seasoned Collings dreadnought. The neck has a generous, comfortable, slightly rounded profile, and recent work—including a fret level and new saddle—has it playing cleanly up and down the fretboard. The voicing is open and dry with extra warmth in the low end. It’s a no-frills, thoughtfully maintained example from one of the most consistent shops in modern acoustic guitar making. Includes OHSC.
