This 2014 Collings D3A in Natural doesn’t bother trying to look old—it just goes straight for that wide-open, vintage dreadnought sound and nails it. Adirondack spruce over rosewood gives it the kind of power and headroom that makes you second-guess how hard you’re hitting it (hint: it can take more). It’s in excellent condition with only a few small signs of use—nothing that gets in the way of all that volume and clarity. The neck has a solid, comfortable carve, and the build quality is as clean and dialed-in as you’d expect from Collings. If you're after that cannon-of-a-dread feel without waiting 70 years, this one’s already there. Comes with the OHSC.
