Built in 2004 as part of Martin’s celebrated Golden Era series, this D-28GE pairs an Adirondack spruce top with stunning straight-grain Brazilian rosewood back and sides—delivering the kind of depth, clarity, and power that define the best examples of the prewar style. It features forward-shifted scalloped bracing and a vintage-style neck profile, capturing the feel and responsiveness of the originals. Aside from a small area of pick wear between the pickguard and bridge, this guitar remains in excellent condition. A partial refret was done on the first 8 frets by a Martin-authorized luthier, but otherwise is all original. Get that pre-war sound without that pre-war price tag!
