Modifications/RepairsReplaced tuners, new neck, re-topped, refinished, new bridge, bridge pins, and saddle, new end pin, replace back strip, converted to 1937 D-28 specs by Martin

This 1966 Martin D-21 has been expertly converted by Martin to 1937 D-28 specs, making it a unique instrument with exceptional playability. It features Brazilian rosewood back and sides from 1966, a replacement neck with pre-war specs, a new Adirondack spruce top, and a full refin, all done by the Martin factory. With forward-shifted scalloped bracing and vintage-style appointments, this guitar blends the soul of a golden-era D-28 with the history of a ’60s D-21. Check out the Specs tab for the full modification history. Includes a modern Martin hardshell case.
