This Vibrolux Reverb is a transition-era piece, built just after the Blackface amps were updated to the new design. In addition to the "drip-edge" aesthetics, this amp features the black line on the faceplate, indicative of the very first transition models. It shows moderate signs of previous use but still looks very good for its age. The baffle board is original, but was removed and redrilled, likely for stability purposes.

Internally, you'll find a genuine AA864 Blackface circuit. It's worth noting that the chassis was modified to fit an OEM Bassman reissue transformer, which surprisingly does a great job of matching the voltage despite the looks. Internally, it has a replaced power cord, electrolytic caps, and power resistors. On the preamp side, some resistors in the phase inverter have been replaced, and two coupling caps have been changed, but otherwise everything is stock. Please see circuit pictures for further details.
*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
