Description

This early D Koa Custom from Santa Cruz Guitar Company features a koa body paired with a sunburst top, giving the dreadnought a distinctive look and balanced tonal character. The dreadnought body provides a full, rounded response with clear bass and strong midrange presence. Over time the guitar has received several updates, including replacement tuners, the addition of a strap button, a bridge lift that has been reglued, and an installed pickup. Signs of use include previous tuner holes, scattered dings, buckle rash, and pick wear across the top. An early Santa Cruz example showing honest playwear along with a few practical player-focused modifications.
