Description

The Mark series Mesa Boogies have a cult following among players who don’t mind tweaking a few knobs and sliders to dial in a great sound. The Mark III in particular went through many unique revisions, indicated by the stripe color on the rear of the chassis. Near the end the Blue stripe was introduced, considered the most aggressive and one of the most sought after, along with the Red. This amp features a very useful factory mod that adds a volume control to the Rhythm 2 channel, located on the back of the amp. While the lead channel is fantastic, this model is particularly known for its Rhythm 2 sound, making this mod a valuable addition.This amp is also Simul-Class, controlled by a switch on the back, offering the option of 75w full power or 15w Class A. While the headshell and cabinets are not original, they are of very high quality and feature real Mesa Boogie-style wicker and logos.
