The Mesa/Boogie Heartbreaker is a versatile two-channel design that blends several eras of classic American and British-inspired tones into a single platform. This is a first-year example, introduced in 1996 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Mark I, with the model produced in limited quantities through 2001.
Its two channels cover everything from big, warm Fender cleans to thick, sustaining overdrive, while switchable voicings and power options offer plenty of flexibility. Overall, this is a fantastic and somewhat overlooked Mesa design, offering a distinctly more vintage-minded flavor than many of the company’s higher-gain offerings.
This amp is in fantastic condition, with very minor signs of previous wear.
