With plenty of well-earned wear, this 1946 D-28 sounds as good as you'd expect! With a nice extra bit of bite and focus compared to earlier D-28s, this one has a powerful, commanding voice that's a natural fit for the hard-playing picker. While its had plenty of work done, it's all left it in fabulous playing condition. It's had a neck set, refret, new bridge and new nut and saddle. The tuners are non-original. Three top cracks, three back cracks, and one side crack have all been repaired and are stable, and a bit of binding was replaced on the lower bout treble side. Comes with an Ameritage hardshell case.
