From Martin: "The 0012-28 Modern Deluxe combines vintage warmth with modern refinement in a twelve-fret design. A spruce VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM® (VTS) top and Golden Era–style Adirondack spruce X-bracing emulate the full, aged tone of a nearly century-old Martin. Natural protein glue and a lightweight carbon-fiber bridge plate enhance resonance and sustain, while exclusive Liquidmetal® bridge pins return energy for greater projection. EVO gold frets and a slightly asymmetrical neck feel smooth and natural in the hand, and European flamed-maple binding, Waverly gold open-gear tuners, and a 1933-style pearl logo create an elegant look. The 12-fret 00 body shifts the bridge for deeper bass and open tone—ideal for players seeking intimacy, warmth, and refined small-body comfort."
