Martin 0-28 1907, Natural

This 1907 Martin 0-28 is a remarkable piece of Martin history and a wonderful example of an early 20th century instrument that has continued to live and play. The guitar has had a number of repairs and modifications over the years, including a Martin factory replacement fingerboard and frets, a neck reset, heel repair, replacement tuners, and repairs to the original bridge and end block. Three of the original ivory friction pegs have been retained in the case, along with some original ivory binding strips. There is also extensive touch-up work to the top and sides, as well as areas of damaged and previously repaired ivory binding. Despite its history, the guitar is in good, stable, playable condition. And most importantly, this 0-28 feels and sounds great, with the warmth, character, and beautifully seasoned voice you hope to find in a guitar of this age. A truly special instrument with an honest history and plenty of life left to give.
