The 000 models are arguably among the most versatile and comfortable guitars Martin has ever made. The 000-18 series, with its mahogany back and sides, stands out for its pleasing sound across the spectrum, characterized by the dry, woody warmth that mahogany provides.

This particular guitar has undergone essential repairs to give it a new lease on life, including a neck reset, back refinishing, replacement bridge pins, and multiple crack repairs: a 6" top crack on the bass side with one cleat, a crack under the pickguard, a 2" top crack on the bass side waist, a 2" top crack on the bass side behind the bridge, a 1" top crack on the treble side lower bout, and approximately 3 side cracks on the treble side lower bout. Additionally, the top was re-glued to the kerfing on the treble side lower bout, the bass side finger brace was re-glued, and the fingerboard extension was darkened during the neck reset process. Thanks to these repairs, this guitar plays beautifully with low action, delivering a dry, warm, and rich tone.
