This 1928 Martin 00-40H began life as a Hawaiian model and has since been converted for standard play, offering a glimpse into the company’s craftsmanship of the late 1920s. It features a refinished top, replacement tuners, and a replacement bridge with replacement saddle and pins. The bridge plate has been reinforced and repaired, and a large back crack has been stabilized with several rosewood cleats. The neck has been refretted with a replacement nut, making it a well-sorted player while retaining its vintage character. With old overspray on the back and sides and a neatly added strap button, it carries the kind of honest wear and repair history that tells the story of a well-used and cared-for pre-war Martin.

Includes modern Martin TKL hard shell case.
