The 00-28G was Martin's nylon-string entry in the standard series, and this 1957 example is a genuinely clean survivor from that era. The small body and gut-string appointment made these a natural fit for classical and fingerstyle players, and the Brazilian rosewood back and sides give it the tonal depth you'd expect from mid-century Martin construction. This one has had a bridge reglue and the nut shimmed and filed. Cosmetically, it remains in very good condition with light checking and a few body dings to note as well as some finish reaction on the treble side of the soundhole. For a 60-plus-year-old nylon-string Martin, this one has come through in solid shape.
Includes 70s hard shell case.
