Modifications/Repairs00-28C Converted to full scale steel string 00-28. New Top, new neck, full refinish. New bridge. new Pickguard. Neck block, back and sides original.
A great choice for a player looking for the Brazilian rosewood 00 sound, but without the budget for a fully authentic model, this Martin 00-28C conversion gives you the best of both worlds! Converted at the Martin Factory using the back and sides from a 1942 Martin 00-28C, this guitar has that coveted warm Brazilian rosewood tone paired with modern appointments. The 14-fret neck has very comfortable action and the model on the whole has higher end appointment than those typical of 00-28, most notably an abalone rosette. Cosmetically, there are 2 cracks in the old wood that have had finish sunk into them. Otherwise, it's in great shape and the workmanship of the conversion is top notch.
Includes modern Martin hard shell case.
