A pre-war 00-18 is the holy grail for many a guitarist; and its comfortable size means it will likely stay around you in whatever play setting you find yourself in. The combination of Adirondack spruce, Honduran mahogany and Ebony is a formula for sonic success; and the scalloped x-bracing that supports it provides for the most resonance. This example has survived 85 years thanks to the repair work listed in the Specs tab (including a neck reset, re-fret, and other repairs in 2024). That being said, it has obviously been well loved in its long life and was worth the extra attention it received.
